Developed from the Configuration drawings on paper, the Defined Configuration installation is a work in progress that can present in multiple formats on a singular drawing spine and aims to establish a dialogue between the tangible act of drawing and the conceptual realm of spatial and durational installations.  

This series has been influenced by Jeannie's extended European travels in 2023 and 2024 and inspired by notions of growth, metamorphosis and decay reflected in commonalities of architecture that cross cultures and centuries. 

It is intended that the installation would be exhibited alongside the drawings on paper, or within a "pattern book", enabling the installation to grow and decay throughout the course of an exhibition.
